CECILIA NEGRON and ANTONIO PERRONE, who are responsible for the organization, first met when they were both working for an ecuadorian airline at Guayaquil International Airport, in 1.980; after that, they were engaged on each own´s learning experience, through their work in travel agencies, hotel marketing, airlines representation, tourism products research and development, consultancy, teaching and public service; until they joined in 2.000, to select the best destinations and responsible touristic operations in Ecuador, so that you can enjoy some of the many unique natural and cultural attractions in the country and, at the same time, support local communities in their way towards sustainable development.

BEN HAASE, born in the Netherlands, has dedicated his life to the observation and study of the coastal birds and marine mammals in Ecuador, where he arrived in 1986; since then he has been studying the birds that live and pass by the Peninsula de Santa Elena and whales in ecuadorian waters. Mainly thanks to almost twenty years of field research upon humpback whales and the approximately 125 species of coastal birds in the area, he is known as one of the most important scientists and field guides working on the ecuadorian coast and the Galapagos islands.

NANCY HILGERT, ecuadorian-peruvian biologist, specialized in environmental conservation and ornithology, is also an activist for wildlife conservation in Ecuador. She has created and lead many organizations related with the environment and endangered species. Her works include a large number of nature related projects and scientific papers; years of experience have gained for her international recognition for her valuable research work. Her passion and dedication to communicate and educate the society about the importance of ecosystems and species make of her a highly appreciated field guide.

ORLANDO CARRION is an ecuadorian school teacher, also a naturalist guide watching and studying birds since 1996; his continuous attendance at birdwatching seminars and conferences, as well as his work in places like Cerro Blanco protected forest, El Cajas national park and Manglares Churute ecological reserve, make of him a very knowledgable field guide. He is at the moment fully dedicated to teach people about the environment, ecosystems and its species.

LUIS LALAMA, marketing executive and field guide, tourism graduate and with wide experience in research and development of destinations and tours on the ecuadorian coast, highlands and Amazonia; where he has participated in the design and operation of several touristic services. In all cases, his deep interest in ancient cultures and their native environment, has been an essential aspect in his touristic approach.

KERLY AVECILLAS, operations executive and field guide, with a bachelor degree in tourism and hospitality; highly interested in research and development of responsible touristic programs in Ecuador, specially in small rural communities on the ecuadorian coast, where she has broad experience.
